This privacy policy is about how Georgina Stephenson Nutrition collects, processes, stores and shares clients’ personal data. Georgina Stephenson Nutrition is the ‘data controller’ of this information for the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

This Privacy Policy only relates to personal data collected by Georgina Stephenson Nutrition via the Georgina Stephenson Nutrition website, client health questionnaires, emails and telephone calls. Data may also be collected from health records which you have agreed to share with Georgina Stephenson Nutrition such as test results from GPs or other healthcare professionals. Any personal data collected by Georgina Stephenson Nutrition is used in accordance with UK data protection legislation.

Clients should be aware that if they access other websites, using the links provided, these are outside our control. If they provide personal data to other companies, the privacy policies of those companies determine the uses to which that information is put and the Georgina Stephenson Nutrition Privacy Policy will no longer apply.

  • In relation to information which is in categories (e) to (j) above (these being categories which are considered to include particularly sensitive information) Georgina Stephenson Nutrition relies on your consent for any processing for the purposes set out in purposes (2), (3) and (4) above. Georgina Stephenson Nutrition needs your consent to carry out processing of this data for these purposes. However, if you do not consent to processing for purpose (3) (responding to potential complaints) Georgina Stephenson Nutrition will be unable to take your case. This is because I need to be able to retain all the material about your case until there is no prospect of a complaint

Transfer of your information outside the UK

In the unlikely event that Georgina Stephenson Nutrition transfers your personal information outside the UK Georgina Stephenson Nutrition will rely upon identified safeguards which will be determined depending upon the third country to which the personal data is transferred.

Where Georgina Stephenson Nutrition holds your data on cloud storage platforms (CSPs) held outside the UK Georgina Stephenson Nutrition will rely upon the safeguards set out in the CSP’s standard contractual clauses.

How long will I store your personal data?

I will normally store all your information:

  • For 7 years from the last work done on a case. This is because it may be needed for potential legal proceedings. At this point any further retention will be reviewed and the data will be marked for deletion or marked for retention for a further period. The latter retention period is likely to occur only where the information is needed for legal proceedings, regulatory matters or active complaints. Deletion will be carried out (without further notice to you) as soon as reasonably practicable after the data is marked for deletion.

  • Names and contact details held for marketing purposes will be stored indefinitely or until Georgina Stephenson Nutrition becomes aware or is informed that the individual has ceased to be a potential client.

 

Marketing:
